Nancy Williams

Bio: Nancy Williams was born in Toronto on 31 August 1927 and attended Brown Public School, Oakwood Collegiate, and Trinity College in the University of Toronto, where she studied modern languages and literature (BA, 1950). She obtained her master of social work in 1965 and worked in Children's Aid and the Clarke Institute. She and her mother moved into the Sussex Court Apartments at Sussex Avenue and Huron Street in the early 1960s, and later she lived at 11 Washington Avenue. In the late 1980s, Nancy and Marie Scott-Baron had the idea for this book. Nancy died in August 2010. - Jan Patton
